⏳🎁Hello, good morning.
June 8, 2021, Today's devotional.
If someone gave you a gift and said open it on such and such date, would you be able to do that?
If you are anything like me, first I would put the gift down and act like it did not bother me. Then a couple of hours later, I would go back to the gift and shake it, turn it all around looking for maybe a tear somewhere. I had put it down and leave it alone for a while, then go back to it and contemplate well if it is mine what would it hurt to open it and rewrap it, no one would know right?
⏳Waiting = Is a Gift
When it comes to waiting on something I truly desire, I am the ABSOLUTE worse! If it is mine, I want it - when I want it.
The problem with that theory is not all gifts are yours to unwrap. Sometimes the gift is for someone else and you are just the bearer of the gift and because you do not have the strength to wait, now you have messed up something that was going to be wonderful for someone else.
Guess what? YOU are that gift! Wait on God to bring you into the environment where you will be a gift to those there or a particular person. There is no one like you. No one can do what you do, how you do what you do. Allow others to be presented with the gift of you. Stop unwrapping the gift for others.
🎭Major character alert: Kings & Queens are gifts to their Kingdoms.
💓I love you; Abba loves you; we love you!
🙏🏽Leviticus 7:28-30 ERV
The LORD said to Moses, [29] "Tell the Israelites: If you bring a fellowship offering to the LORD, you must present that gift to the LORD yourself. [30] You must bring the fat and the breast of the animal to the priest. Then he will lift up the breast in front of the LORD to show it was presented to God.
