What does it really mean to do good?

In the context of life principles, it means acts of service. Sometimes people perceive acts of service to be solely toward the less fortunate however it means goodwill toward mankind/humanity. All people, no matter your economic status, race, creed, nationality, gender, or sexuality. All means all-inclusive.

As a people, we pick in choose who we want to be benevolent to, yet Jehovah does not do that to us. He may not like the decisions we make but he loves us despite them.

God is benevolent!

On a one-by-one basis, we must learn to be more benevolent to each other. Not when it is just convenient for us. Not to be accepted by others.

Make it an intention to do something kind or good that would serve another person today.
Tell someone thank you. Tell someone they look beautiful/handsome today. You appreciate them. Send a random text of I love you. Buy some flowers for someone. You decide! Just be kind all day long and perform an act of goodwill for someone.

Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him would not be lost but have eternal life. [17] God sent his Son into the world. He did not send him to judge the world guilty, but to save the world through him.
