Shepherd

 🎭🐑Hello, good morning.

May 30, 2021, Today's devotional.

Sheep are interesting animals. They have no sense of direction, whoever leads them, they will follow. Most tend to corral in groups because they do not have any defensive mechanisms, making them easy pickings for an animal that preys on them.

Sheep cannot get up without someone helping them. If a sheep falls on its back, the shepherd must help it back on its feet because it will die in that position.
Sheep know the shepherds. They can tell the difference between a stranger's voice and their shepherd.

Jehovah-God is our Shepherd.

Scripture repeatedly compares us to Sheep. If we are lost, Jehovah-God will search for us until he finds us. When we know God's voice it allows us to assuredly follow him.

We are Jehovah's sheep! How many times have you fallen and only God was able to rescue you? Have you chosen to truly follow him?

🎭Major character alert: Kings & Queens understand that you must learn who to follow to be a great leader.

💓I love you; Abba loves you; we love you!

🙏🏽John 10:11,14-16 KJV
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. [14] I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. [15] As the Father knoweth me, even so, know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. [16] And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice, and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
