Humble

 🎭🧎🏽‍♀️Hello, good morning.

May 6, 2021, Today's devotional.

A wise great thought changer of the 21st century once said, "Sit down, Be Humble"
~Kendrick Lamar

When people speak of the words Humble/Humility, I believe they perceive it to be someone who allows themselves to live in poverty, be disrespected, and submissive. But oh, how that is incorrect!

President George W. Bush stated this, "Leadership means humility. I do not see how you can lead and not be a humble person. Leadership requires knowledge and oftentimes you do not have enough knowledge to make good decisions. Therefore, you must be humble enough to recognize that and surround yourself/listen to people who will advise you to make sound decisions. People want to follow humility; they don't want to follow arrogance"

God is humble!

Through his son, Jesus Christ, Jehovah's character was made humble by allowing him to die for all our sins. That type of humility teaches us to sacrifice, silence, and strength.

There will be times in our lives where we will have to sacrifice something very important to us.

There will be times where your silence will speak more volumes than your words.

There will be times where your strength will come in yielding.

Embrace humility it's a good look.

🎭Major character alert: Kings & Queens realize that humility opens doors and empowers their ability to reign.

💓I love you; he loves you; we love you!

🙏🏽Ephesians 4:1-6 ERV
So, as a prisoner for the Lord, I beg you to live the way God's people should live, because he chose you to be his. [2] Always be humble and gentle. Be patient and accept each other with love. [3] You are joined together with peace through the Spirit. Do all you can to continue as you are, letting peace hold you together. [4] There is one body and one Spirit, and God chose you to have one hope. [5] There is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism. [6] There is one God and Father of us all, who rules over everyone. He works through all of us and in all of us.
